Australia beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the 4th T20 match to take a decisive lead of 0-4 in the 5 match series. In the fourth match of the series played at Melbourne Cricket Ground yesterday.
Sri Lanka batted first and scored 139 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Opener Patham Nasanka played an excellent innings of 46 runs Koshal Mendis (27) and Charith Aslanka (22) stood out in the batters.
Jay Richardson and Ken Richardson took two wickets each for Australia. In reply, Australia achieved the target at a loss of 4 wickets in 18. 1 overs, Glenn Muskwell played an unbeaten innings of 48 runs, Josh England batted aggressively.
And scored 40 runs off 20 balls. The fifth T20 International between Australia and Sri Lanka will be played on February 20. The hosts won the third and fourth matches by 6 wickets respectively.
