The shortlist for the ICC Men's Player of the Month award for September 2022 includes three deserving candidates.

Mohammad Rizwan (Pakistan)

The No. 1 T20I batsman in the ICC Men's Player Rankings kept up his dominance in the shortest version of the game and earned a spot on the shortlist for September's Player of the Month.


Rizwan scored lots of runs against the different oppositions in the recently closed Asia cup and ended up as the tournament's top scorer. Moreover, he was brilliant in the series against England, scoring lots of the 50s continuously.

Cameron Green (Australia)

Following Cameron Green's stellar month of September, fans and industry insiders clamored for him to be selected for Australia's T20 World Cup team.


Green is emerging as the top player in the current cricket scenario. He has made his name in both the t20 and ODI. In the series against New Zealand, he was brilliant with bat and bowl. Continuing his performance, he also played remarkably in the t20 series against India. He is washing on the cricket scenes and is considered a top-quality allrounder.

Axar Patel (India)

The batters in India vs. Australia series were in charge, but Axar Patel was the one bowler who stood out for his ability to take wickets and restrict runs. He was brilliant against Australia taking lots of wickets. On batting-friendly pitches, Axar stood up as the best bowler of the series.
