Later, the Chief Election Commissioner replied to the President's letter. In the letter sent by the Chief Election Commissioner, it is said that the office of the President is the highest constitutional body and it is believed that this body will be neutral, the President will play the role of leader for other constitutional bodies.

The letter further said that if the National Assembly is dissolve, the President can give the date of the elections. If the provincial assemblies are dissolve, the Governors can give the date of the elections. The Constitution does not allow the Election Commission to give the date of the elections.
